Our Mugs
Our mugs are each unique due to the traditional Japanese crafting method of Raku.
Raku is a traditional Japanese method of firing pottery. The pottery is fired at very high temperatures and then placed into open-air containers filled with combustible materials.
Raku firing is one of the most natural techniques that you can encounter in pottery. In raku firing, all of nature's elements are used, earth, fire, air, and water. The earth is used to make the pot, then it's put into a reduction chamber kiln, then plunged into water. The cold water halts the firing process.
Raku translates as 'happiness in the accident'.
Our mugs are inspired by Raku in their design and texture. This makes them traditional and truly unique.
We believe that each of our mugs has a story behind it as it has been handcrafted by our master craftsmen.
Please note: Each our mugs are unique and will have a slightly different shade/pattern to the ones shown in photos. Our mugs carry 100ml of liquid and are 5.5cm in height.

Due to many of our customers purchasing as a gift, we ship all items in gift-friendly packaging.
This means no external giveaways or internal invoices.
Every order comes in a beautiful presentation box. This makes our mugs perfect to be gifted or displayed in a room.
We also (due to the pandemic) support people that want to ship to a friend's address as a socially distanced present.
Just change the shipping address on the checkout page and we shall do the rest.
How long will my order take?
From purchase your order will take 1-2 working days to be processed and packaged.
It will then take 1-2 working days to be delivered.
We ship via Royal Mail and you will be able to track your parcel the whole way!
